He began his career as an Oracle DBA and currently works as a Principal Solution Engineer at Indus River Technologies. KK has extensive expertise in Oracle OCI, Exadata, and Database technologies. He is an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Professional and an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) for Oracle Database 11g and 12c. Additionally, he holds certifications in Oracle DBaaS and Autonomous Database.

KK supports customers in OCI administration, including designing, patching, backup, and high availability. He specializes in Oracle Database upgrades, migrations, patching, high availability, backup/recovery, and multitenant architecture. He has co-authored several books, including “Oracle Database Upgrade and Migration Methods Including 12c” published by Apress (link), “Oracle High Availability” (link), and “Oracle Autonomous Database.”

A recognized expert in the Oracle community, KK has received a Gold Trophy for his contributions. He is a seasoned speaker, having delivered sessions at numerous prestigious events such as Oracle OpenWorld (2018, 2019), Multicloud 2024, Oracle Cloud Yatra (2022, 2023), and Sangam (2018, 2019, 2020). As a key member of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), Arun drives the organization’s cloud transformation journey through effective cloud governance practices. Arun has previously worked as a Product Technical Leader for the Enterprise Database Services team, where he developed and honed his technical proficiency by engineering, managing, and supporting multiple database platforms, including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB. His expertise spans across various database technologies, and he is a multi-cloud certified professional.
